Sta.sh
This one is an iTunes skin, so it will show the title, artist, and time of whatever is playing in iTunes on your desktop. (The only bad thing about it is the lack of a "next" button.)
But... if you really want, I will upload the rest of the skins I made as well, for other things. For example, here's my current desktop: [link] The iTunes player is in the top left, clock is self-explanatory, clicking the silhouette of Char launches firefox, the CCA symbol brings up my Documents library, the CD symbol brings up my Pictures library, and the Zeon insignia in the very bottom brings up my Anime folder.
But you can change them to do whatever you want, basically.

To install the skins:
>extract folder
>run Rainmeter
>copy/paste to Program files\Rainmeter\skins
>right-click Rainmeter quicklaunch icon
>"refresh all"
>right-click Rainmeter icon again
>Configs
You should see it there! Those should all come with black and white versions. Maybe not the Char one, I don't remember. I can make it for you easily if you like though. If one black version of the folder launchers is too big, you need to edit the skin. Well, you'll have to edit it anyway to make it direct to your folder, because at the moment they have my directories in them still.
To Edit the skin:
>run Rainmeter
>right-click Rainmeter icon, hover over the skin you want to edit
>click Edit skin
where it says
LeftMouseUpAction=!execute ["C:\Users\Public\Documents\"]
take out what is in quotes and make it whatever directory you want. To change the size, change the numbers in the w= and h=. Hope that helps you out~
